I suggest to select five songs which are the best in Your opinions. It's not a big number but it will help to avoid the commotion. I hope it will give the best of T.d.V. in one pill and will be helpful to those ones who doesn't know yet the band (how is it possible?) This place also can be used as an expression of our likes. So, let it begin...
- Pleasure And Pain (for the thrills I have while I'm listening it)
- The Dark Domain (for the lyric, composition and the vocal arrangement)
- Les Litanies de Satan (for the idea, union of the two classics and for the performance!)
- Lunatic Asylum (for the perfect vision of madness and for the keyboard's play)
- Queen of The Damned (for the atmosphere, the space that seems to be present "behind the guitars")
Plus the reserve one, bonus...
- I Can't Get You Out of My Grave (for the "la la la la la la la la" heh)

My set:
1. Let me die (sometimes there's nothing more to say to a guy. I love to dance a fallen angel dance with it)
2. Rosa Mistero (I just like the lyric and the music, it's very nice)
3. Solitude (it's so beautiful I can cry all night long, but I don't  )
4. Pleasure and pain (I love to crawl I love to bite I love to make love when it sounds)
5. Lacrima Christi (I like the way Sonya's sing and I like the choirs)
But I have to say that there's no song of Theatres des Vampires I don't like. All of them are great, the old ones and the news. But I think I prefere the new ones

Yes, for me there's no any single poor song of T.d.V. too. But I prefer rather the old ones. Your favourites are brilliant and for sure they all would be in the second 10 of my Top 20 exept "Pleasure And Pain" which is my no 1.

1. Enthrone The Dark Angel (great keyboards, brisk melody and the child's choir makes me powerless to resist its magic, I mean the version from The Vampire Chronicles)
2. Une Saison En Enfer (in my opinion this song is an essence of the band, there's gothic, there's varied keyboards, beautiful vocal arrangements, male and female vocals, some demoniac opera, I see it on the stage, besides there's a varied pace and I like it, I like the guitars, while they sings "driv'n to madness")
3. Dances With Satan (there's all of me in it, I can dance and revel like a crazy till I will lose my consciousness, nice pace, some getting slow then carnage again, I love this kind of music. I mean the version from Bloody Lunatic Asylum)
4. Walpurga's Night (carnage, slowing down and carnage again, did I mentioned that I love it? I like the sound of the guitars and the drums, overtuned guitars, harsh drums this is it and great female vocals)
5. Twilight (and the carnage again and this drums and this guitars mmm, nice vocal arrangement and the feet drums... and the moans and sighs of a woman in the background, simply daisy! This is their best album of all, Vampyrisme, I would publish it here as a whole but we select here single songs)
My substitute is The Jester's Shadow. Nice melody, the guitars are well, good vocals, the best track on Nightbreed of Macabria. But generally I am not keen on the present Theatres. What a pity they are not plays like they were on Vampyrisme and before.

Kriss, You are a real black metal fan, I can see it in this post and in some others All the songs You have enumerated are great, but I can keep telling there's no poor songs by T.d.V. Excluding this one You have pointed in the polish version of this subject. That's right, "driv'n to madness" is a nice fragment. I see we have similar views, I prefer the old Theatres des Vampires too and "Vampyrisme" has an unparalleled atmosphere to the other albums. Return to the roots, play the old songs anew... it was a great idea. Carnage, the woman's sighs and the feet drum... the pure essence of black metal
"Dances With Satan" was a candidate to my top 5 but finally the other songs has won. Maybe the new T.d.V. musn't be liked by the fans of pure black metal, but song "Pleasure And Pain" is good You will agree, won't You?

Pleasure and Pain is nice, keyboards are interesting and as you have wrote in the beginning thrills are possible to be felt. Problem is that the keyboards are the only nice thing in that music, I wish to hear this motive we are talking about for some longer, more frequently. The song has an excellent lyric, very in my style and I could to sing it as my own song. Sonya interprets vocals in the interesting way. She is exceptional because of it. She sings very clear, even classical and a while later she mumbles like a pure-blood aristocratic vampire. On the whole this is the only advantage of album Pleasure and Pain - Sonya's vocal abilities.

Yeah! I like the lyric of Pleasure and pain too. And I love this song! I can see some other advantages of Pleasure and pain album but that is true, Sonya is the best of them all.

1. wherever you are (because on my 17th birthday scarlet dedicated this song to me but also it is a song me and my boyfriend use to help us cope when we dont see eachother as he lives far away)

3.from the deep (this song is so sad but yet so beautiful and it helps me get my feelings out when im sad its a great song to cry to)
